FRESH CONNECTS LLC, a California limited liability company ("Fresh Connects," "we," "us," or "our"), operates a B2B wholesale marketplace connecting produce and meat wholesalers with retail buyers in California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the platform:

• Account information: Business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business address when you register.
• Transaction data: Orders placed, products browsed, pricing viewed, RFQ submissions, and messages exchanged with other marketplace participants.
• Text message & call data: If you use text (SMS) or phone (voice) ordering, we collect the phone number you contact us from, the content of your text messages, and — for voice orders — call audio recordings and transcripts, so we can process and fulfill your orders.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, and actions taken within the app — used to improve the platform.
• Device and technical data: Browser type, device type, IP address, and error logs — used to diagnose issues and maintain security.
• Cookies and local storage: We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and improve performance. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate the marketplace — matching buyers with sellers, processing orders, and enabling communication between parties.
• Improve the platform — analyzing usage patterns to make Fresh Connects faster, easier, and more useful.
• Send transactional communications — order confirmations, price alerts, RFQ notifications, and account-related updates.
• Enable text (SMS) and voice ordering — interpreting your messages and calls to build orders, send price lists and order updates, and (for calls) recording and transcribing to process orders accurately and improve the Service. You can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP.
• Provide customer support — diagnosing issues and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain security — detecting fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With marketplace participants you transact with: When you place an order or exchange messages, the other party sees the information necessary to fulfill that transaction (e.g., your business name, delivery address, and order details).
• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Communications providers: We use third-party telecom and messaging providers to deliver text messages and to connect, record, and transcribe phone-ordering calls on our behalf, under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Mobile information and text messaging consent: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

5. California Residents — CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to know: You can request a summary of the personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used or disclosed.
• Right to delete: You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Fresh Connects is a B2B platform intended for business use only. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify users via email or an in-app notice for material changes.
